The Emergency Broadband benefit is a federal program that can help by providing short-term assistance with the cost of wireless service for eligible customers. Qualifying customers can get up to $50 per month off an AT&T PREPAID wireless plan. Households on Tribal lands can save as much as $75 per month. In addition to these savings, AT&T offers eligible customers free shipping for all orders, as well as a free SIM for customers who bring their own devices.

Check your eligibility at the federal government National Verifier. Here are a few signs that you may qualify
. Someone in your household participates in a federal assistance program: Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), Supplemental Security Income (SSI), Federal Public Housing Assistance (FPHA), National School Lunch Program, Federal Pell Grant, Veterans Pension and Survivors Benefit.
. Your household income is at or below 135% of federal poverty guidelines.
. Someone in your household received a Federal Pell Grant in the current award year.
. Someone in your household has experienced substantial loss of income since 2/29/20, including being unemployed or furloughed.
. For customers on Tribal lands, if someone in your household participates in Tribal-specific federal assistance programs.

- How long will it take to get a response from the National Verifier?The quickest way to apply is online. In some cases, response will be in a matter of minutes, but it’s possible it can take several days before you receive a response.

- Can I get the Emergency Broadband Benefit on my wireless voice service and my data service?No. You can only get the Emergency Broadband Benefit (EBB) on one service (wireless phone, wireless data-only, or home Internet,) per household, not per person. And if you have multiple qualifying plans within a service type, the EBB benefit may only be applied to one of the plans. Additionally, a household can get an EBB from only one provider at a time.
